Position: Bearer (Field Support Assistant)

Start Date: October 2025
Compensation: Part-time, contract basis (approx. 10–15 hours/week, JMD $2,000–$2,500 per one-way trip or more depending on experience and/or workload.)

LegalEverse is a fully virtual Jamaican law firm that helps local and overseas individuals and businesses confidently navigate the Jamaican legal system from anywhere in the world. Our practice focuses on real estate transactions (including land purchases, transfers, and first registrations), Tax Registration Number (TRN) applications, powers of attorney, and business contracts.

Although our operations are primarily online, our team plays a vital role in ensuring documents are delivered, filed, and collected efficiently. By joining us, you will be part of a forward-thinking, fast-growing firm that values professionalism, integrity, and reliability in everything we do.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect legal documents from government offices, banks, and clients

• File applications, collect TRNs, and complete errands as instructed

• Maintain accurate records of tasks completed and funds disbursed

• Communicate updates promptly via WhatsApp/email

• Represent the firm professionally during client-facing interactions

• High school certificate / diploma

• Own reliable motorbike or car (with valid license and insurance)

• Reside in Kingston or nearby (St. Andrew, Portmore, Spanish Town)

• Able to pass a criminal background check

• Organized, punctual, and reliable

• Honest, discreet, and able to handle confidential information

• Good communication skills and presentable appearance

• Tech-savvy enough to use a smartphone, WhatsApp, and Google Maps
